Alumni Event Emcee Laura Kowalski, an Administrative Assistant with the Career Services department, is looking for an emcee for an event for recent alumni (up to 10 years from graduation) that the department will be organizing in October.

Responsibilities and Duties
-Willingness to speak in front of a large crowd during an event.
-Adhering to the terms outlined in the Alumni Volunteering Agreement.
-Willingness to conduct research to ensure up-to-date information is shared during speech.
-Clear articulation.
-Willingness to interact with the audience.
-Willingness to rehearse speech.
-Willingness to answer questions from the audience.
-Intermediate to Advanced experience in public speaking.
-Understanding how to use body language (posture, tone, facial expressions, timing, etc.) to communicate your points effectively.
-Ability to assess your audience and adapt your speech accordingly.
Alumni Expert
Alumni Webinar Host Erika Holter, Alumni Relations Officer with the Office of Alumni Relations, is looking for a host for an upcoming webinar that will focus on creating an eEfficient network in LinkedIn.

Responsibilities and Duties
-Providing a photo and bio for marketing purposes.
-Reviewing and providing input into the webinar presentation synopsis and slide deck.
-Reviewing any resource documents or suggested reading that are provided by the presenter(s).
-Promoting participation in the webinar via social media and any other available means.
-Attending a meeting via Google hangouts with the presenter(s) and a rep from the Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) to ensure alignment on presentation.
-Participating in a dry run of the presentation one to four days prior to the live version.
-Introducing the presenter(s) to the webinar audience.
-Ensuring that the webinar starts and ends on time.
-Briefly address any technological instructions that may be required.
-Being logged into Zoom and ready to go 15 minutes prior to the live webinar.
-Monitoring the Q&A and/or chat for questions.
-Leading the Q&A with the presenter(s).

Interior Design Class Guest Lecturer - Industry Professor Jane Smith from the Faculty of Arts, Interior Design, is looking for two alumni guest speakers to be guest lecturers in her classroom, speaking about modern trends in interior design and sharing their professional experiences and success stories.

Responsibilities and Duties
-Willingness to share industry experience and expertise with students.
-Willingness to dedicate time to prepare a presentation/classroom contribution before delivery.
-Adhering to the terms outlined in the Alumni Volunteering Agreement.
-Including hosting professor’s advice and feedback in the preparation of content to be

-Willingness to interact with students in the classroom.
