While government grants, student tuition and fees cover the very basics, it’s community support through the MRU Foundation that enhances a Mount Royal University education making it accessible to anyone at any age or stage of their education journey.

We are extremely passionate about education, and our passion drives ambitious goals. The Foundation’s vision is to strengthen, enhance, and further Mount Royal University. We make sure students have access to excellent courses, professors, learning experiences, technology and facilities. We remove barriers students face and support them with meaningful services and programs.

Our History

Since 1991, The Foundation has played a pivotal role in supporting the University's vision of creating exceptional learning experiences for a world of possibilities. 

We are proud to advance this vision by cultivating long-term and inspired relationships with the community and raising funds for the university's priorities: from more scholarships and bursaries for students to innovative programs and initiatives and state-of-the-art campus spaces.
