At Mount Royal University, Giving Day is more than just a day on the calendar; it's a celebration of the incredible spirit of philanthropy that courses through our vibrant community. For the last four years, our remarkable MRU family has risen to the challenge demonstrating unwavering support for students. Together, we've raised over $950,000, and this generosity has directly transformed the lives of MRU students. 

Last year we asked students which areas on campus would benefit from more support. And MRU donors heard you. Your top priorities for support were:

Scholarships and bursaries: Providing direct financial support, rewarding academic achievement and alleviating financial barriers for more students. Donors helped create 13 new awards supporting 30 students in the last year!

Food Security Initiatives: Ensuring that students across campus had ways to access food support in times of need. Donors increased their support to this area by over 300%!

Mental Wellness Supports: We know this is a growing area of concerns for students and donors alike. Last year we saw unprecented investment from donors with programs like the Peer Support Centre After Hours Program.
