What is MRU Giving Day?
This year on Tuesday, Nov. 30, Mount Royal University will host its first ever Giving Day. This 24-hour campaign is a way to celebrate philanthropy on campus and highlight the impact of our generous donor community. Join us to hear stories from students, faculty and alumni as they share their Mount Royal experiences. We know there are a million reasons to give to MRU students ... what's yours?

Where do I make my gift?
You can donate online at mru.ca/GivingDay. Giving online allows you to participate in leaderboards and challenges.

Can I make my gift over the phone or by mail?
Yes, You can make a donation over the phone by calling the MRU Foundation at 403.440.7700. You can also make a donation by mail as long as it is received before or on Nov 30 and you have indicated that it is a Giving Day gift.

Where do my gifts go?
Supporters are encouraged to designate their gifts to any area they feel most passionate about. Every gift makes a difference, no matter which area you support. Regardless of your choice, 100% of your donation will be passed along to MRU Students.

Is there a minimum donation amount?
Our minimum donation amount for MRU Giving Day is $10. Any donation can make an impact on the lives of MRU Students.

Is my Giving Day donation Tax Deductible?
Yes, after you make your donation you will receive a tax receipt.

What is an Ambassador?
Ambassadors help spread the word about MRU Giving Day and inspire support by reaching out to friends, family, and peers in their own personal networks. Ambassadors can reach out to friends and family via social media, text, and/or email.

How do I become an Ambassador?
Anyone can become a MRU Giving Day Ambassador! Check out our Ambassador Tool Kit on our website at mru.ca/GivingDay for more information.
