MRU Giving Day FAQs

What is MRU Giving Day?
On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Mount Royal University will host its annual Giving Day. This 24-hour campaign is a way to celebrate philanthropy on campus and highlight the impact of our generous donor community. Join us to hear stories from students, faculty and alumni as they share their Mount Royal experiences. We know there are a million reasons to give to MRU students ... what's yours?

Where do I make my gift?
You can donate online at mru.ca/GivingDay. Giving online allows you to participate in challenges and see the progress of the campaign in real time.

Can I make my gift over the phone or by mail?
Yes, you can make a donation over the phone by calling the MRU Foundation at 403.440.7700. You can also make a donation by mail as long as it is received before or on December 3, 2024 and you have indicated that it is a Giving Day gift.

Where do my gifts go?
While the priority areas this year are scholarships and bursaries; food security initiatives; and mental wellness supports, you can designate your gifts to any area you feel most passionate about. Every gift makes a difference, no matter the size. 100% of your donation will be passed along to MRU Students.
